some say that accepted should be considered this generations animal house. i wouldnt go as far as to say that but overall i thought that it was one of the more original comidies to date. most modern students can relate to the overall premise of this story. as being one of those students i have a very good appreciation for this story and the characters in it.

Accepted is a fairly typical "coming of age" style movie, but; with Justin Long leading this cast it turned out to be a fun comedic success. Like every other movie of it's genre it had it's moments of "Why would they do that?" moments and some "WTF?" moments but overall the characters were fairly consistent. The plot was a little bit less than conventional but, unfortunately it still turned out to be on the predictable side. The ending had the typical feel good, cop out that every other teen movie out there but it was still fun to watch.

I would recommend this movie for anyone looking for a few good laughs and a good time. Not a bad way to spend an hour and a half.

I gotta say, Accepted is really not that bad of a movie. It's actually got alot of funny jokes and situations, which I really wasn't expecting in a comedy like this. The acting isn't to bad either, Justin Long is a good actor in my opinion, and should be in more comedies. Even though the story for this film is so outlandish its stupid, it works for the movie overall, and makes it more fun to watch. A pretty good comedy overall.

Even if the story in the film is impossible to happen in real life, it's interesting to see stuffs in what Accepted has to offer to the audience. It's funny and really enjoyable. I like how the film was not trying hard to be pure comedy. It also has values that we can translate into something we can realize and learn from. 6.5/10.

An under appreciated comedy that instills the watcher with a lesson about life, but introduces some annoying characters that should be beaten. Its comedy, while not witty, is overall effective. Justin Long is the only bright point of this movie, however, and Lewis Black looks like he is on crack.

I enjoyed this movie for it's humor and in the fact that it had meaning. Why go to college to become a zombie for some job that don't care about you. We should all be so brave to follow our dreams.
