"Die Hard" on a plane. While not as a good as Die Hard, it delivers on high-quality entertainment that's definitely worth seeing.

Basically, it's a load of actors you've seen before playing roles you've seen them play before, acting out the same scenes you've seen them in before, but on a plane. It's ok if you want to kill two hours with a bit of very familiar and predictable plot turns etc, or if you're a patriotic republican who salutes every time the words "united" and "states" are spoken together.

For a film centred around the American president, the Russian president and an international incident of epic proportions (all fictional), credit should be given to Wolfgang Petersen for keeping 'Air Force One' relatively apolitical. The inferences can be drawn but never given the impression of being part Petersen's message.

This is an entertaining movie. Don't expect anything from it though. No real underlining message.

The dialogue is the weakest part, sometimes Harrison Ford will rattle of a line that is laughably cheesy.

A good movie, but not a great movie.

When reviewers use the term roller coaster of a ride this usually indicates a absolutely shockingly bad plot disguised by cgi and stunt work. This film is no exception with added jingoistic claptrap thrown in.

An action packed and cool action movie with a great lead by Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman as a great bad guy and also Glenn Close being a great support cast member this film is sure to entertain with its thrills.

It is an awsome action film with some pretty good acting. Plus, Harrison Ford is beating the **** out of terrorists. What more could you want?

Air Force One is one hell of a ride. Its an action packed roller coaster with well rounded acting and a commendable script. Besides the slow start and a few outlandish scenes I was much more pleased than I was going to give it credit for when I first saw the trailer and synopsis. This is an Action/Thriller that Director Wolfgang Petersen should be proud of.

Harrison Ford plays the president of the United States of America who has just captured a violent Russian General with help from his allies. During his flight on Air Force One the plane gets hijacked by neo-nationalists requesting for his release or hostages will die. Some drastic measures must be taken to save them all from catastrophe.

Harrison Ford was on his game with this one even though it is not a stretch for him with all the Indiana Jones movies under his belt. His acting is standard like I've seen it before which I have, but with out him I don't think I would of adored it as much. To top the movie off the editing was great all the scenes blended perfectly.

I thought this film was going to be just another re-run of the same old genre. Although it kind of was I was pleased to have watched. Much better than National Treasure closer to the level of Indiana Jones which is refreshing. All in all I was entertained.

A very cool film. It gives about a 10 min setup and, BAM, hits you with no-stop action. Harrison Ford is one of my favorite actors and he excels in this film.

Now,am I supposed to beleive that America would elect an "action hero" president? Kerry was in 'nam but we didn't elect him. And could you imagine Bush or Obama doing this shit? No! Plus I hated the villian. He's a mix of Hanz(Die Hard) with a 7 year-old child.

Rent it. It's sometimes even on TNT.
