A highly thrilling piece of docudrama, made all the more impressive seeing as we already know the ending. Hoffman and Redford give very good performances in the respective Bernstein and Woodward roles. It's also a highly detailed and I'd assume, realistic if romantic, look at life working for a newspaper, particularly investigative journalists. A great film.

Had to watch this movie in a history class in high school. Was not what I expected whatsoever and absolutely loved it! Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman make a great team. This movie is filled with many twists and turns and keeps you up on your toes the entire time!

Redford and Hoffman both are able to deliver good performances in this investigative journalist drama that gives incredible insight into the Watergate Scandal, as well as how a team of old school reporters worked.

An important part of history, however, probably not a good idea for a movie.

I bet it's a great movie if you watch it more than once, but after the first hour I got confused with the whole thing since the story is just made of names and my memory is not perfect with those. I paused the movie for 5 minutes, and when I resumed I thought it was ridiculous. What an awesome direction, though! There's a shot of Robert Redford which closes up very slowly which is really great. And that 'Deep Throat' guy; what the hell is that?

This was one of those movies that I didn't like at first because I didn't know what was going on most of the time. Now, I just love it because it has this suspense that I didn't notice before.

A captivating, naturalistic, subtle, well-paced, brilliantly acted, and inspiring movie.
My only gripe is about the rushed ending which doesn't deliver the triumph/catharsis that one had expected.Perhaps, being a topical film, the filmmakers felt that the events at the end were fresh in the minds of the audience, and that they inspired horror at malfeasance rather than glee at the president's eventual resignation.
In sum, a memorable cinema experience.

Undoubtedly the best film with both Redford and Hoffman. The historical value is amazing, it is neatly organized, and factually well-done. Must see for any history or mystery buff.

This is one of the best historical films ever made. Excellent acting, an interesting storyline, and great cinematography as well.
