stallone sadly chose alot of bad films in the nineties and this just happens to be one of them. what could of been a brainless superb action film slowly becomes boring and uneventful.
great cast and director can't save a film that has little to recommend it. starts well but the film becomes boring and with little focus. the film never needed a female and sadly julianne moore is criminally out of place.

This movie, Assassins, is action packed and worth watching for any fan of action movies. One of my favorite actors is in the movie, Antonio Banderas. I found out the movie is written by the same people who did the Matrix and I can see how that is so. Any movie with Banderas is usually good, and this is no exception. This movie is worth checking out.

The duality of the two key personalities serves the meat of interest.

I miss the backwards ballcap look. I really do.

Now, Assassins is way cool. It could've been way cooler, but as is, it's way cool. The problem: it's far too long and has far too many scenes with underdeveloped dialogue. Most of the film, when the guns aren't a-blazin', seems like filler. It's almost like they had this awesomely thick chocolate bar an filled it with...well, with nothing. It's a hollow chocolate bunny. It looks great, but there's nothing to really fill you up (unless, in the case of the bunny, you eat the whole damned thing and get sick while your teeth start to rot). ** (out of ****) C

Some great talent involved here from actors to writers to the director, but it doesn't turn into a hit even with it's fun premise. Another Stallone failure.

Assassins: Stallone and Banderas shooting at each other with a hot young redhead in the mix, action packed

Demolition Man: It was ok, the futuristic approach was kinda a drag yet the ending was cool

Ice Storm: Totally confusing and not quite sure what to get out of the story... Good acting tho....

Dangerous Liaisons: Cruel Intentions to a "T"... But of coarse this one was first so its always better but the old english can be confusing... UMA THURMANS BOOBS!!!!

Proof of Life: Good rush and gripping... I don't see how people say this is bad...
