We've seen this story hundreds of times before, but I would be lying if I didn't admit to having one hell of good time with this movie! Surprisingly well-acted (Eamonn Walker is a great villain) with some great fight sequences. This one with far exceed any expectations you have of it and I can truly say that this is one of the best direct-to-DVD movies you will ever see! Plus, I really do hope to see more of Michael Jai White around because I am loving more and more of his work (Spawn, Undisputed II, The Dark Knight and Black Dynamite to name just a few).

Excellent movie. I had never heard of this movie until someone told me about it. Now I am glad they did. I enjoyed this one very much.

We have all heard the saying don't judge a book by its cover. Well how about this don't judge a movie by its cover. At first glance I thought this movie was going to be some cheesy rapper movie staring DMX or the reincarnated Tu Pac. I was wrong and totally blown away by this movie. The only bad actor in this movie is that chump from Hook. He is really annoying in this movie. You will know who I am talking about. Other than that the movie is full of amazing fight scenes, and the acting really is for the most part good. I love this movie and would recommend it to anybody who loves a good fighting movie.

Blood and Bone got me excited. The opening scenes left me wanting more, and to jump right in, i loved Michael Jai White's part.

The story contains friendship, trust, fear and alot of fighting. It evolved nicely and flowed well, with the added bonus of Michael Jai White carrying it through superbly.

Now ive mentioned him twice already which i dont normally do in my reviews, so for a third time ile say his name. Michael Jai White did a fantastic job here, i loved his cool character, his acting all the way to his fighting skills. He's obviously the lead character who follows the story starting from the bottom to work his way to the top of the street fighting ladder to only fulfil a promise he made to his best friend when he was in prison. For someone ive never head of before i was very impressed by him.

It felt like it was back to basics on the visual department and what a treat it was. It all felt real, fresh and tough, clearly im talking about the fighting scenes here. Im a person who hates when there's a fighting scene and the screen flickers in different locations to make the fight seem more "exciting". Its irritating and obvious that they are hiding the fact that the actors clearly cant fight. Here however, its just a pleasure to see a fight clearly to see what exactly happens, they were acted brilliantly.

Its not just all fighting so dont be put off by my constant mention of fights, but they are a big part of the film so keep away if you don't like that sort of thing.

Blood and Bone is a American movie directed by Ben Ramsey and written by Michael Andrews. The plot centers around when ex-con Isaiah Bone (Jai White) gets out of prison, he immediately seeks out a room to rent and gets involved in LA's underground fight scene. Along the way, he destroys the area's best fighter, who is under the control of a local mob boss named James (Eammon Walker). When Bone refuses the mob boss's request to fight on the international circuit, it sets off a powerful battle between the two, amidst some surprising revelations about what drove Bone to get involved with James in the first place. I thought this movie was great. The story was very well written, the film was very good, full off action and very good fight movments. I thought Michael Jai White did a really great job in the film, I think he is one of the most underated action stars ever. I recommand this film if you want a good action movie, cause there`s tons in this film. Two thumbs up!!!!! It was also nice seeing some MMA fighters in the film. Awesome Film!!!!!

Although the fighting is top notch, I pity anyone who believes that the top notch fighting I just talked about is in the least bit realistic in the underground MMA world. The acting was awful and so was the camera work. The plot was highly predictable. And they made Kimbo get punked in the movie! You don't do that to Kimbo! Don't waste your time or money on this one. Just go rent Fight Club again and bask in street fighting greatness.

This filme superated my expectatives, very good, full off action and very good fight movments !

I thought this movie did exactly what it was suppose to do for someone watching it. If you enjoy fighting movies, you definatly will enjoy this film. It will suck you in right from the beginning and will keep you in your seat because there is not much down time in this film. Of course like all these hero movies they are predictable but leave that a side while watching.
