Bloodsport is one of my favorite martial arts movies, it is also one of van Damm's best. The fight scenes in this movie are great because you get to see all sorts of different fighting styles from around the world. One thing that is god**** annoying in this movie is Frank Dux as a young boy. The child actor who played that kid can't act for ****.

I'm a bit of an action movie junkie, as anyone who has ever read any of my reviews are aware of. With that in mind this is one of my favorite action movies. Its simple, short, and violent which is all I need. The fighting sequences are entertaining and although the acting isn't top notch I could really care less. If you like action movies or martial arts movie this one is for you, but I'm sure any action movie junkie is already aware of that. Check it out if you haven't.

I love Bloodsport. Based on the life of Frank Dukes in the Kumete, this movie is awesome. Van Damme is a monster in martial arts and this is his epic. Worth watching every time.

Hands down the Best Martial Arts Movie ever made! Loved this film especially since it was based upon the true-story of U.S. Operative Frank Dux.

The Movie Soundtrack (Paul Hertzog) was recently released which was, is and always will be excellent!

I loved the part when Van Damme is handed the Family Sword by his Sensei - The Honor, the Loyalty is Powerful - something missing in the World today - Loyalty.

5 Stars for this Film Forever!

Loved it!

This movie's plot is fine, but its plagued by issues, which are:

- the acting is mediocre for the most part.

- the fighting looks too fake and is poorly executed most of the time.

- there's not much humor in it.

- bad writing.

- there's too much unnecessary, slow motion in it.

There's a few funny parts, but those are the only real good parts about this movie. 3.5/10

In the world of Jean-Claude it doesn't get any better. Mega 80's driving soundtrack, with average at best acting. Great montages that rival anything from the 80's! "OK USA!"

Fine it's proably dumb and lacks a good story but come on it's Van Damme's best portraying his martial arts. Watch it to see Van Damme kick people.

Going back to the original action guys of the 80's and 90's

The plot kind of lacks but what do you expect with a low-budget martial arts film? It has some of the best fighting scenes in any movie then and now. A true classic!

"You are not Japanese! You are not a Tanaka!" This is the best movie to have playing in the background while you are doing something else. It is always enjoyable to look up and see the action and greatness!
