This was a really great animated film. I liked the animation and I also like how it was taken place in the dessert of Nevada, and I also like the character's and the cast such as the lovable character Mater, who is voice by Larry the cable guy. However, what hold's the movie back is that it lack's a story. But overall, this is still a great animated film for the whole family.

For me, it wasn't that I thought Cars was bad, just that after all the amazing sure fire hits that Pixar have had, this just wasn't on par, not even close.

I don't know whether it was the fact that cars are inanimate objects and just didn't make good characters or the weak story line but it just didn't feel that Pixar had put the effort in that you see so obviously leaping out at you in the Toy Story movies, Monsters Inc, Wall E etc.

Fortunately Pixar got right back on track with their next few movies but I'm surprised to see that this has warranted an upcoming sequel when Monsters Inc hasn't?

I think Cars as a MOVIE was good, but Cars as a Pixar was just the weakest. The sory was meh, and I think that some parts went way to slow. But the graphics were amzing and they make up for a 60%

Probably the worst Pixar film so far, which speaks mountains of praise for Pixar. It's only real downfall is the heavy-handed sentimentality and a safe, predictable hollywood story.

Loved it...one of my animated favorites. I think being a NASCAR fan has something to do with it. ;-)

I was so dissapointed. It was long and boring with a few funny scenes and a few likeable characters.

This might be Pixars least popular movie but I enjoyed the cars. The characters should have been explored more, and the environments should have shown off the vehicles more.

My favourite Pixar Film, but I understand why others may chose to disagree, as perhaps the central theme is not as universal as say Toy Story or Nemo. Just, in my opinion, far better.

Maybe it's the boyish fascination with racing cars! I love the characters and the concept of the Cars being the superstars. The moral core and lessons in life, although straightforward, are endearing and true. A great variety of central themes include friendship between contrasting individuals, young arrogance set straight, demons of the past conquer, blossoming love and good winning out. Pixar at its best.
