As far as teen comedies go, this one is legit. The goal of this movie clearly was not to win an Oscar, but to provide pure entertainment. My friends and I watched this movie before starting our first year of college, and we had a really fun time. Some parts of the movie may be exaggerated and/or unrealistic, but other parts give relatively accurate portrayals of the college experience. My friends and I definitely have created some inside jokes since seeing this movie. Don't write off this movie!

this film is a mockery of teens going into college films. this movie tried WAY to hard to be like superbad and failed...miserably. no wonder they had drake bell be the main star, he's a terrible actor, so no wonder he thought the script would be funny. i wanted this film to fall into the category of classic teen going into college movies...such as american pie, superbad, etc. disasterous.

Tried too hard to be like Superbad. The basic 3 teen formula (1 nerd, 1 average joe, 1 fat kid) falls flat on our faces. Painful to sit through, if you can get to the end

When thinking of this movie I am sickend. After the worst 20 minutes of my movie viewing career I shut this horrible shit fucker thing off. Did they feel good when releasing this? The writers actors and director should all be removed from this earth. One of the worst movies I've ever seen, I don't know what dumb fuck would enjoy this.

When making this film they had to know it was going to bomb. This movie shows what could have happened to flight 1549.

This could have been a great movie, if they had different actors, different story, and different everything. I really didn't see any trying on any of the actors parts, and the writers just didn't seem to care. Not funny.

Have I simply outgrown bad teenage comedies, or have bad teenage comedies sunk to a new level of mediocrity? I got the sense watching "College" that maybe I'm just too mature too find this kind of material funny or enjoyable anymore, but the material that exists in this film is so unoriginal, so deplorable, so absolutely unfunny that I find it hard to believe anybody with a fraction of maturity could find it enjoyable. It's not that frat house antics can't be fun. They can be. See "Animal House" for proof. It's just when the supposed heroes are wildly incompetent, unlikeable buffoons who absolutely deserve all the (mis)treatment they receive, it's hard to like them or the movie that contains them. "College" finds 3 high school seniors-the tall pretty one, the fat one, the nerdy one with glasses ("Superbad," anybody??)-as they venture to Fieldmont University (F.U., get it?) for a weekend of fun. The nerd is supposed to have a scholarship interview at the university, and has planned to bunk with a student in the dorms. The guy in the dorms creeps out our heroes, so they go looking for Fraternity row.
And, wouldn't you know it, they just happen to pick the worst house on campus, which also happens to be on probation ("Animal House," anybody??), and can't have any new pledges. But, nothing prevents them from hosting three unassuming high-schoolers and treating them like pledges.
The rest of the movie is basically the fraternity pranks on the visiting threesome. None of it is funny, none of it is in good taste, none of it is the least bit entertaining. There are body shots taken off a hairy male buttocks, which is quite possibly the most disguting things ever filmed in a non-pornographic film. A lot more happens, some of which I have already forgotten, some of which I will spare you from being subjected to.
This is a horrible excuse for a movie, even a bad teenage comedy. It is just disgusting. I felt dirty after watching it. Also, I was a bit put-off by the excessive alcohol usage in this film. It almost makes "Beerfest" look like a light-weight by comparison. I HATED this film.

2/10 Maybe as the guy in Lethal Weapon says I am getting to old for this sh..tuff . This light frat movie is tells the story of three high school friends who go to a nearby college to have their best weekend ever. The movie is just a sad attempt to be funny, the chubby kid, is one of the most disgusting pathetic and unfunny chubby kids a film has portrayed in ages. The movie ends up just being an idiotic representation of frat live and college with nothing to offer.
