Yes, this movie started out slow but it did get better. I agree it's a Twilight Zone inspired tale and it is self serving at times but for pure entertainment, it did its job. The narrative at the beginning was clumsy but after it got its feet, it walks the rest of the way on its own. Best ending I have seen in some time.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS MOVIE! This was one of the worst piece of garbage I've ever seen. It's a complete mess and makes no sense. I don't know how anyone could give this movie a good review unless they were drunk or just have really bad taste in movies.

Very weird movie, it doesn't make any sense, we were hoping towards the end it would come together, but it failed to do so. Just bad, not worth the $1 from Red Box.

Not a bad movie. Has a real twilight zone feel to it. The story seems rushed but im sure thats not Thomas jane's fault (director and actor). I always enjoy any movie with a small amount of character's in it. It is pretty obvious but hey most movies are!

** (out of four)

Thomas Jane takes on the duties of director and star in this unique, strange, and unpleasant resolution.

The plot here is paper thin. A couple who have just met and married in Las Vegas head through the desert that night where they get lost and hit someone who is standing in the middle of the road. They think he is dead or dying, but they try and get him help. He awakens and he isn't at all what they expected.

The film starts out quite interesting, mainly due to Jane's unique way it is shot. His visual style captivates, but his story gets lost.

While the story really fails to make any sense in the end, the movie is well acted, well directed and incredibly stunning visually. Billed as a noir film, it definitely lives up to it with a very timeless feel that works very well with the story. The surreal and beautiful cinematography definitely makes the film worth watching.

A weak second half and pretty awful visual FX hurt this film, but I believe all in all...the story was pretty solid. It felt like an updated Outer Limits episode...although the effects appeared to be from the same era, and I found this distracting. Nice Tension building in the beginning...too bad it fell apart at the end
