During the Sabrina the Teenage Witch period, Melissa Joan Hart was all the rage. Adrian Grenier was not quite Entourage yet. Take a decent cast, throw in a weak plot, and you have this decent romantic-comedy. I like it in small doses myself but happy endings are guaranteed.

Somehow this movie will shock and amaze as it goes about doing the same teen routine paved by so many others.



I give this movie a 4.9 out of 10.0. Rob Thomas crafts a refreshing screenplay that makes this re-hash stand out. Sadly the overall theme of the novel remains and the conclusion is the same old story.
