A well rounded action flick. One of Anold's last good thrillers. Williams couldn't act her way out of a box but she is nice to look at.

The action scenes are ok and very entertaining, but when the film tries to tell a story, it fails, hard. In fact, aside from the story, everything in this film is just ok, but the lack of a strong story drags an ok film into a slightly bad one. However, it's one of those you're not going to sit down bored at. If you want to watch a mindless Schwarzenegger action film, go dig up Commando, because it's much more satisfying.

It's not one of Arnold's best, but it gets the job done. While dated, it's still an okay action flick. Plus, I've always thought the rail-gun was a fun idea, even if it's not realistically cost-effective. Or light enough. Anyway, Eraser isn't too witty or intriguing, it's something you might check into if you're looking for that not-so-special indiscriminate action shootout.

By far Arnolds best outside the realm of Science Fiction. This underrated action flick delivers pretty horrible CG but not action. It's action is top notch with a great story, good cast, and good directing. A must watch and must have for any action fan. One of many underrated action movies of the 90's.

The life post T2 was hard for Arnold. After that, each movie he has made was a pain in the groin.

One of the better and few good 90's Arnie flicks. Yeah, it's a guilty pleasure, but who doesn't want to watch Arnie play as eraser John Kruger who erases identities? It's a fairly long and drawn action movie, but it's entertaining. It could have used a better performance from James Cann as the villain, but just looking at the still beautiful (at that time) Vanessa Williams helped make up for it. Oliver Platt is always worth watching also.

One of Arnold's weaker films. Not much action and pretty cheesy.

I don't know what time did to Eraser, but I wish it hadn't. When I was younger, Eraser was awesome! I loved seeing Schwarzenegger in these types of action films. But watching it again over a decade later, I was amazed at how poorly it had aged. The dialogue is comical (read: not funny) and at times inane, the action isn't as impressive as I once remembered it, and the effects are extremely low-rate.

Eraser was the beginning of the end of quality Schwarzenegger-action films, as many forgettable actioners followed that may as well have been straight-to-DVD. I'm sorry I can't see Eraser again through young teenage eyes, but it really hasn't aged well at all.
