Call me a freak, but I'm a huge fan of both FD and all of its sequels.

i was caught up in the horror. i found it to be a good film...

I hate this movie. How can you take a good idea and make it suck this hard? Even B-Movies deserve effort from the actors! Still, it's actually pretty funny at some points.

Awsome film , and a cool idea , and im glad it didnt take that really gorey route that the rest had.

Although violent, it was a fresh new idea that instead of being hunted by a psycho, a monster, or a demon, that the people were being hunted by Death itself (sans the skull face, black robe, and scythe). It was scary and a good movie.

Final Destination if one of the best modern B horror films ever made in my opinion. The acting isn't the best, but its definitely passable. The idea of the characters cheating death and death coming back to kill each one of them was just really interesting. The plane scene at the first part were the guy starts freaking out an wants off the plane is just straight up freaky, and I really liked it. And the deaths in this film are very creative as well. So if you like B horror movies, check this one out!

This movie was scary, I mean not if you see it in broad daylight but in the night you kind of get into it. I love the idea, and I enjoy this one except there is a part before the end where the lead is sacrificing himself. There a quick scenes which keep you entertained.

I recently watched the newest addition to the series (The Final Destination) and I almost like it, so I figured I would visit the first in the series just to see if it was better (most of the time that is the case, especially in a horror film series), but that is not the case here. This is a hokey, bland, boring, and predictable movie that I almost turned off. The writing is bad, the acting so-so, and the effects completely overblown. The newest one knew what it wanted to be, a guilty pleasure film that you can enjoy on some level if you let yourself, but this one is depressingly serious the whole time and it drained all of the fun out of it. It magnified all the flaws. It's worse when the movie thinks it is smart and thought-provoking when it really isn't (it makes the original Saw, a decent movie, seem genius). Did I mention this was boring? Please don't watch this movie. Maybe the next one (or the third) will be better. Here's to hoping because I really do like this premise and think it could be executed better.

this and the 2nd final destination should have been it. the kills are clever and entertaining. i love the idea of this film, i just feel like this film could have brought a lot more.

I love the idea behind Final Destination, I just wish the film executed it better. The deaths were good, the gore average, the acting and script...........badddddddddd! I could have written it a lot better myself. So many stupid lines, like when they are all looking at him after getting off the plane and she goes 'your not a witch'. Well yeah I dont think 'witch' was the word anyone was thinking. Just one of many stupid lines. I quite like Devon Sawa in this movie though, and the lead up to deaths is always built well and makes me nervous, so the movie isnt a total failure.
