OK. It's a porn movie so I didn't go into it expecting much plot or acting skills. I wasn't shocked there. The plot is thin, it being basically a rip off of the classic Flash Gordon story line. The acting was, well, about what I expected. What did surprise me though were the special effects.

Granted these were not break through special effects even for 1974. But, for a porn movie, these were damn good. The music was not memorable but also not horrible. Unless you are offended totally by such things this one is worth a look and most sci-fi fans will get a laugh out of it.

Flesh Gordon is funny, fleshy and weird.
