This was a classic teen conflict flick. The family found it enjoyable and the boys plight to be funny and painful at times. He is so homely, and she is strickingly beautiful!

I LOVE YOU BETH COOPER IS ON MY FAVORITE COMEDY FILM OF 2009.
A MUST SEE MOVIE,THE BASIC PLOT OF THE STORY IS THAT DENNIS COOVERMEN LIKES BETH COOPER AND IT IS GRADUATION SO TO EVER HAVE A CHANCE TO SEE BETH IS TO TELL HER THAT HE LOVES HER. THE MOVIE IS FUNNY AS HECK I MEAN THERE IS ONLY A MINUTE BETWEEN LAUGHS IN IT.

I started out thinking this was a standard teen romantic comedy, but part way through I thought they were laying the groundwork for an interesting ending - but it didn't happen. I'm glad it put that doubt in my head, but ticked off that it wound up following the same stale route.

it was more riveting than the davinci code but without all the 'thinking' required for normal movies save the cheerleader, save the world, bitches!

A less than formulaic teen comedy, and an excuse to put over-hyped little person Hayden Panettiere in a film. You won't even crack a smile.

I shouldn't have enjoyed this movie as much as I did because it really wasn't very good. However, there were some entertaining parts and it was effectively uncomfortable enough to keep me engaged until the very predictable end. If this film was released in the late 80's or early 90's it would have played a lot better. However the geek falling for goddess high school cliche just doesn't work as well in todays environment considering the geeks have become gods.

Irritating characters with lousy and flat conversations, which results in a poor typical pre-university movie
