This is a pretty good sequel, not as good but still good and I hope that if they keep doing these movies that they don't screw it up because this is a good series. The action is great, the acting is good and we got a great story. Just a good movie.

Lethal Weapon 2 is a pretty good sequel to the original, but it doesn't really bring anything new to the franchise, at least in my opinion. It seems like the exact same as the first one, and while it is entertaining, it's just not really as good. But overall, not to bad of a sequel.

The best film of the 4 films. All the original actors return, original soundtrack from Clapton & Kamen that really sets the mood for the film. Exciting storyline that never gets boring no matter how many times you watch it.

The whole crew returns for this sequel that I happen to believe is better than the original. Joe Pesci adds a lot to the film, and the added romance that develops between Riggs and the blonde woman actually works instead of hurting the film. It really adds to Gibson's suffering character and it leads to a tragic 3rd act that really gives the finale a boost from an emotional standpoint.

I would say there is a lot more going on here than there was in the first film. It's darker and more violent with better villains in my mind. The one down point is that the tension between Martin and Murtaugh is not really there this time. So it's not all better, but I find this to be the better and most entertaining film of the series.

Not as good as the first film, but still great. This time, Joe Pesci is added into the mix, making this one a little more comical. The characters change still, but the villian is what makes this film not as good as the first film. In the first one, Mr. Joshua was a menacing villian, but here, Joss Ackland has a slight sense of menace, but he was still okay.

Lethal Weapon 2 is the most brutal in the series, and probably the series' least humorous entry (it's still got humor, but the content is more serious overall, and the humor is less forced as in the last two). Gibson and Glover continue with their strong characters from the original, and Joe Pesci is added to the mix in his least annoying role in the series (and Gibson and Glover haven't yet tried to get him killed at every turn, in fact saving his life in the end).

What's really memorable about the second in the Lethal Weapon series is the South African bad guy with diplomatic immunity. It's really a great setup line in the end, a classic in the genre, and ultimately very satisfying (the first two Lethal Weapons had a knack for delivering the satisfying endings, whereas the last two were kind of like "meh" endings).

Lethal Weapon 2 doesn't have the same character detail now that we've come to know the main protagonists, but it makes up for it with a more compelling story, at least compared to the Lethal Weapon 1 story, which was sort of pedestrian. Overall, LW2 is a sequel that doesn't pale in comparison to the original, but almost equals it.

Funnier and more exciting. I liked the addition of the character Leo. He brought something more to the movie. This is a good sequel and is even more enjoyable than the first.

It's not often that a sequal is better than it's predecessor but this one is, even if only slightly. This film includes great casting, including the stunning Patsy Kensit. The first flick was good, but this one has a better plot and a funny little man, Joe Pesci.
