Good flick!!!...I personally like all the bond movies, and Dalton does a good job as 007 in Licence to kill.

Dalton makes one of the Best Bonds, taking the charisma of Connery and mixing it with Craigs ruthlessness, he truly shines as 007. This and the Living Daylights are among the finest Bond films

One of the best Bond movies from the 80s. With Dalton taking Bond in a darker and more violent direction this a refreshing storyline from the normal Bond film and also provides two hot leading ladies and some of the best action scenes from the Bond series.

I wouldn't say Im a huge James Bond fan, but I really really enjoyed this movie. It is by far better than Tim Dalton's other Bond film. This Bond film seemed a lot darker in than the other Bond films. I.e. getting shot with harpoon guns, shark attacks, people getting lit on fire. But hey, the truck chasing scene at the end brought back memories of The Road warrior. Good film overall.

Definitely the better of the two Dalton films, and easily the most realistic Bond film made so far. The awesome tanker-chase scene notwithstanding, there are no scenes that make this iteration stand out from the rest.

James Bond: Episode 19

007 resigns to go on a personal vendetta when his agent friend, Felix Leiter is almost murdered by a large drug dealer. Non-support from the British secret service leads Bond to take revenge on his own, but in secret receives help from Q as well as a female operative on the side.

This movie received so many different titles in different countries. Mostly due to that Dr. No translated was Agent 007 With Licence To Kill. So to avoid confusion, countries like Sweden gave it the title: Time For Revenge and Licence Revoked. This is probably one of the best post-Connery Bond movies, although it felt more like an action movie, and the unique agent movies were a thing of the past. Timothy Dalton still does not convince me in his performance as the secret agent, yet he does an acceptable job. But Licence To Kill feels very much 80s, especially since a lot of the action and cliffhangers seem very influenced by Indiana Jones, especially Raiders Of The Lost ark.

Sadly, it would be the last time Dalton played 007, so he never really got his feet wet playing the role. Not to mention that it would be quite a few years until another James Bond movie would be made. What is really sad to me is that as I mentioned before, there wasn't much personality left in the agent himself, nor a lot that made the genre stick out as a secret agent movie series. It feels more like a high class action movie. What had been something as special and unique as a James Bond movie comes across to me as modern cliffhanger supercop flick. It's not really the original James Bond anymore. It's more like just another action agent movie. Yet, still a good one.

My favorite of Dalton's (two...) Bond films. Robert Davi plays a great Bond villain that makes this a great Bond movie. The plot of 'revenge' isn't as well worked out as it could be, but Carey Lowell and Talisa Soto are great Bond girls that compare and contrast beautifully with Dalton's portrayal of Bond.

Benicio Del Toro plays one of the best evil sidekicks since Oddjob and creeps you out in every scene he's in by taking his joy of harming another human being to the next level.

A definite must-see for the Bond franchise.

The Living Daylights was a definite boost for the series and License to Kill was looking to repeat that success. Although lacking a great story, the film features one of the most frightening villains and this one can actually take Bond. Bond doesn't need to defeat an entire arm,y this time, but rather insert himself in Sanchez's organization to uncover a major drug operation. The film ends with a fantastic truck chase and great stunts but falls short with the classic 007 wit and charm. MISSION SUCCESS

This Bond film has a great atmosphere, a bit less good as Dalton's previous Bond film, but this has the best chase in Bond history, the tanker chase along steep cliff ridges.
