Slightly funnier than the first sequel, but still mostly a big waste of time. The premise is ridiculous and predictable at the same time, and the baseball action does not measure up to the original.

I had no real expectations going into this movie and well i am glad that was the case. Going from the whole Indians to Buzz thing killed the movie right off the bat. Other than Cerano and Dorn none of the other important characters appear in the movie. Kind of dull at times

Major League: Back To The Minors is actually worse than the first two installments. I couldn't believe how bad some of the joke attempts were in this film.

Take a cult classic, remove the best characters and throw the remainder back into the minors. That is this movie. It just really does not have the hype the first did. The second wasn't even that big and they still made this movie. I am sure if they managed to get the original cast back they would of done better, but I am sure all the actors would of not wanted to be in this movie.

An amusing story about Minor League Baseball.

But without the characters that made the series famous in the first place (no mention of what happened to Charlie Sheen or Tom Bergener's characters).

The series tried to start new with a fresh cast, featuring only Corbin Bernsen, Dennis Haysbert and Steve Yeager from the original film, along with Eric Bruskotter and Takaaki Ishibashi reprising their roles from Major League II.

Back to the Minors is ground out. Just not a good movie.

Only worth watching to see a classmate of mine in it. Other than that it's pretty much pointless and unfunny. Does get an extra point for having the guy from Quantum Leap in it.

Although it is very predictable and certainly not original in any sense of the word, it is harmless, and has some entertaining moments - they aren't often enough, but they are there.

Major League: Back to the Minors (1998)

I'm one of the very few who enjoys this. The plot was fun but why the minors? Had some of characters not returned from the first two Major League movies this would have gotten a 1 from me but I really liked the characters too much. Kind of stupid and fake but still fun.
