I'm not going to review this like a normal review. Seeing as this is a documentary and not a normal film its rather hard to do a regular type review.

Ron Jeremy is perhaps the biggest and most well known Porn Star in the Adult Film industry. Ron's popularity is almost of mythical proportions. This film went inside his life and told us the story of how he went from being a nice normal Jewish kid who liked to clown around and make people laugh to the Adult film industry's No 1 man.

Ron talks candidly about things in his life that you may have wondered about and also some of his friends talk about what makes Ron tick and what makes him work as hard as he does.

There are lots of interesting things about Ron trying to break into mainstream film and the struggles he's had to endure because of the stigma that he is an adult film star. Lots of good laughs in this one as well.

This was a very well made film and a plesure to watch. There probably isn't a man out there who's seen a R.J flick, who dosn't idolize Ron and wish they could have his life. He's the avg Joe that's made a name for himself by being himself and proves that its not all about look's.

A very interesting film. If your a fan of documentery's than you should check this out. A warning ahead of time. This film is very explicit and there is alot of Nudity in it. A film for those 18 and older for sure.

How do you approach a subject like Ron Jeremy, a singular character in pop culture if there ever was one? He's a small, obese, hairy man who became world-known as one of the most prolific adult performer ever; a walking contradiction or better yet, a living exception to the rules. Well, as hinted in the title, this bio-pic presents two sides of Ron Jeremy: the man and the legend.

The legend is a man who had sex with countless beautiful women, a man who can shoot his load with seconds-precise timing, who can get it up on command (Without the use of viagra), who can stay hard for four hours straight, who can suck his own dick, who accomplished what would be impossible today; being an ugly yet hugely successful porn star.

Much more interesting, although not as impressive, is the portrait of the man behind the legend; Ronald Jeremy Hyatt. The viewer is introduced to the man via the retelling of his tragic childhood, his career choices, his interest in becoming a legit full-time actor/comedian and his general personality traits through observations, events and anecdotes told by his friends, family and co-workers. The portrait dressed by that depiction is one of a lonely and sensitive man with an urgent need to be the center of attention, not without defaults (he's presented as monetarily cheap, impulsive and rather... hungry) but also full of qualities.

A plus of watching a movie like this is the women. During the running time of this movie, I've seen more (naked) porn stars than in many porn videos out there and some of them were outrageously good looking.

And Ron Jeremy has fucked them all. Bow, mortal.

Well made "documentary" on the life of Ron Jeremy, perhaps the most recognizable and adored male porn star ever. But this movie is not just a showcase for the man who has slept with thousands of women and is the envy or everyday Joe's everywhere.

Besides detailing the early career of Jeremy and his rise to fame, the movie reveals the more serious side of Jeremy - an incredibly lonely man who was had only two or three actual girlfriends in his life. And how his ambitions to become a legitimate actor have been thwarted by an incredibly self-rightous and hypocritical film industry. (You'll learn that he has also had roles in over 40 legitimate films, and has a reputation to "get killed a lot")

Besides documenting the life of Jeremy, the film also has a lot to say about the porn industry itself, reminising on the glory years of porn during the late 1970s and early 1980s, when many films were just as well made as any legitimate B-movies of the era. A long forgotten era, when porn films actually had a plot and drama, were goofy and funny, and didn't just show plotless and tiresome sex scene after sex scene to cater to a bunch of horny guys who only want to see naked women having sex.
