Directed by Adam Sandler. and starring Rob Schneider, David Spade, Jon Lovitz and Jon Heder. A pretty good movie. I thought it was hilarious. This also only being Mr. Sandler's second film to be directed to date other than "Grandma's Boy". So far not bad on the start sir. Watch this movie if you want something just to laugh at.

despite a really crappy script, and I mean really, really, really crappy, it has best attempted performances and a somewhat good moral. the only real shame is that these actors can't get (or rarely get) anything worth being in/seeing.

Oh, god, David Spade. You can be a funny guy when you try. On television, you make me laugh plenty of times. And remember Tommy Boy? You've got talent, I know you do.
Oh, god, Jon Heder. What were you thinking? When you're not being a total moron, you can be funny. Remember Napoleon Dynamite? You even got a couple laughs in Blades of Glory.
Oh, god, Rob Schneider. Oh, god, Rob Schneider. You aren't funny. You can't act. You are pathetic.
The Benchwarmers was one of the worst films I've had to sit through. Rob Schneider's film fails at every joke, and he's not even tasteful. Not that he had a decent script to work off, to be fair. It's hackneyed and awful, never making sense and working mostly on gross-out humor rather than anything else (like the "gag" of the guy who eats suntan lotion).
This movie is absolutely terrible. It never works on any level and is never entertaining, even for a moment.

typical silly comedy for the people with low expectations who shell money at these type of films. if we were to ignore these stars would they go the way of paulie shore who may have talent but made mindless comedies one after another.
no real sophisticated laughs just hitting below the belt and vomiting. never expected alot from the film but a few honest laughs but that was a tall order.
some funny moments but not enough to justify the running time

I dont get why these three funny men united ofr a such a terrible movie. The only scenes that kept my attention was Nick Swardson's. His funny performance made this terrible film decent.

i would have to say... this is the WORST comedy movie I have ever watched! This was just awful.. it honestly doesn't get any worse than this! Rotten tomatoes won't let me give this a 0/10. It should have been #1 on the 100 worst movies list! What were they thinking when they made this movie!

I don't know why, but I happened to enjoy this comedy for its cast, T.V and film references and moments like that, and for its message. Not the best comedy ever, but I managed to get a couple of chuckles out of it, especially with Nick Swardson as Howie, the guy who's afraid of the sun! But in all seriousness, the characters move, the film has a message, and it has some laughs.
