The Burbs makes you Laugh hysterically! It's sad to say the Quirky and unusual Comedy is plagued by Various loop holes that are beyond repair.

A quirky, predictable, and ridiculously cartoonist film, it is not memorable or valuable to the film industry in any way except for Tom Hanks'consistently funny performance. I appreciate it for what it is.

The whole idea behind this movie is hilarious and even if some of the lines in the movie are corny, I spent the whole time chuckling at the "idea." This is one of my all-time favorite movies and I think it is vastly underappreciated.

i found this movie so hilarious. its not well made and executed, but so many of the jokes are gut busting to me. i guess you could call this a guilty pleasure (more pleasure and less guilt).

A guilty pleasure, old Tom Hanks movies. I remember seeing this as a kid. It's part senimentality and part just fun. The Bruce Dern lines I remember are still as funny today as they were 20 years ago. Was fun just to be entertained for an hour and half and turn of my mind.

Top 5 comedies of all time. Almost every line is quotable. If you don't think this film is hilarious, you're not paying attention... "I'm just lying here, with my eyes closed, trying to get some goddamn sleep."
