I don't know what this movie was about. The Car, a ridiculously goofy 1970s horror film that managed to frighten me zero times, is a complete hodgepodge of meandering nonsense. The performances are stiff, the dialogue inane, and the "special effects" are anything but. I understand this film was made in 1977, but seriously - if you don't have the budget, then perhaps you shouldn't be making the film. I liked some scenes, but this is pretty lame stuff. * (out of ****) D
