The movie is a treat to watch. It has the same Narnian flavor as the first. The movie is based on the book by C.S Lewis but just changed around a bit to make it more interesting because Prince Caspian was not th most excting book of The Chronicles of Narnia. The film was still nonetheless as magical as its book. A real treat for anyone who is into great fantasy/action/adventure.

I was really dissapointed. I thought the acting was kinda avergae, and it may have featured good special effects, but the story was slightly weak, and I also found that there was waaay to many war scenes that weren't needed.

Not as good as the first one, but it's still pretty good. It's a nice story though I do wish some things could have been better. I've honestly never read the book or it's just that one doesn't exist but I felt like the mice were pretty pointless and were just there to add humor to the movie. If I was fighting against the mice I simply would have given them, unarmed, to my cat for a meal.

I see why this seen as the least favorite on many Narnia fan-sites. While yes, I see it as a 70, I see it as a solid 70. These films could be a lot better from my point of view.

The story is not good. We got little background information on many humans got into Narnia and in the kingdom they lived in. The characters were a bit less believable and I actually preferred their acting in the first film to second surprisingly.

Yes the battles were great, yes the effects were amazing, but that is not enough. Look at The Dark Knight, that's all effects and fights and it didn't turn out good (in my opinion).

The story is good, as I should correct myself in saying it is not as good as the previous one. There is still a wonderful, magical world present. Only two fantasy series have suceeded in creating a great world, and that would be Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. This very well could be the third, but it needs the great plot and characters to back it up. After this film, the characters keep changing, which means it will be a new challenge for each film.

This one did not fully live up to the hype, but it turned out all right. As I said earlier, I found this to be the least like on Narnia fan-sites, while the next film (The Dawn Treader) was the most liked. I expect a lot from the next film given this. This film can satisfy me for now. The next film will decide the franchise's fate.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian was a decent sequel, but I prefer to call it a good stand alone movie. There were a few ties to the first story, but overall I didn't feel any real cohesiveness. That does not mean the movie is bad though. It's not quite as good as the first, but still very enjoyable. What I loved so much about the first was the heart felt story, with great action scenes and special effects to support it. What I didn't like about the first was the spotty acting by the lead characters. This one is exactly the opposite.

It seemed to depend on the epic battle field sequences and beautiful visuals, rather than just have them to reinforce the story. And the story lacked the magic that sparked my imagination, like the first. But on the contrary, the acting was much improved. I believed the characters more, and that was enough to keep me iterested in their struggles. The best new character was definitely the mouse knight Reepicheep. He reminded me so much of that cat named Puss in Boots, from the director's other ultra-popular series. Still, it is a good entry in the series, and I am looking forward to the third one, if it ever comes out.

Preferred this one to the first. It's like they found their stride with this movie. Good performances, good script.
