This is a good sequel and I know it's not as good as the first one but it is good. They had more money so sure why not put more dinos in the movie and they did a good job with it. The acting is pretty good, the effects are still as cool as ever but there's something thats not as good as the first in here and I don't what it is. Somethings just missing in this movie but what can I say good movie good story. Decent sequel to the original.

An engaging sequel, certainly, with more dinosaurs and more violence, but the wonder found in the first film has depleted to a certain amount and filled with more of horror.

I disagree with the top critics and the T-meter critics, I agree more with the RT Community. I think it's definetly a worthy sequel to the original, but, it lacks story. As well as other things. But the acting by Jeff Goldblum and Julianne Moore just barely save the movie. All in all, it's better than good, less than great.

The Lost World was a decent sequel to the original, but it could have been way better. The action sequences in this film were really good though, and the excitement never seemed to end. There were also some very memorable scenes as well, such as the T-Rex in San Diego. Overall, it was not that bad.
