Ok, it isnt just that this movie brings all those memories past. This is a timeless movie. Ive watched it and the kids i babysit love it to. It happens to have an infectious feel to it that once you watch it you cant hekp but want to go out and play some hockey!

Yes, I was a young kid when this came out and yes, I have nostalgic feelings about it. All of this doesn't mean my opinion doesn't count. I watched this movie again today, and found it enjoyable. Of course, it's not the best movie I have ever seen. It is a huge cliche for our generation, but that doesn't mean that I can't watch a movie simply to enjoy it. People take films too seriously sometimes, and this one should definitely be taken lightly. Sit back, relax, and enjoy. Don't analyze.

This is one of those cases where a god awful movie can be enjoyable. Everything about this film is pretty atrocious, trust me. If you haven't seen it since you were 8, you have no idea.

I'm going to defy everything english class has taught me, and start with the strongest reason. The character development is a joke. Emilio Estevez goes from wily lawyer to inspirational coach, all over a DD incident. The transformation takes all of a couple scenes. Riveting. Coach Bombay (sp?) is the man though, in the Disney sort of sense.

The humor is odd. Most of it is a miss. Though, the film also has some adult humor, if youd call it that. Coach Bombay calls his one line the "Oreo Line". Thats right, a forward unit with two black kids and one white kid. And Disney made this film? Times have changed, jesus.

I feel like the only people who would like this movie are those who have seen it as kids first. Its predictable, easy to follow and relatively static. But its The Might Ducks. I still manage to enjoy its overall shantyness.

Comment or whatever.

A god-awful bore that is neither funny nor entertaining. Sure, kids should like it, but for anyone above, say, 7 or 8 years old it is just barely watchable.

This is a great film for all ages. It is classic that appeals to even the non-hockey loving crowd!
