Instant top 5 movie for me! i did not want it to end, the best thriller movie i have ever seen. I thought i had it figured out, but then it twists and turns and has no open ending available to spot. My kind of movie keeps me guessing and this movie crunched my brain. Some parts in the end are predictable throguh out the movie, but you can never be to sure, even when it sits right in your face you are never quite sure with it.

Brilliantly directed by Christopher nolan, The Prestige is a full-blown mystery thriller that benefits from good performances and surprising plot twists.

Mysterious and magical. Got confused here and there and Christain Bale can be irritating.. But good stuff.

The Prestige is a mystery thriller film with bit dose of science fiction.Directed by Christopher Nolan based on the novel of same name by Author Christopher Priest.It is a story of two rival stage magician Robert Angier(Hugh Jackman) and Alfred Borden(Christian Bale) of London at the beginning of 20th century.I n the beginning they work together for a magician accompanied by a illusionist engineer Cutter(Michael Caine) and Angier's wife Julia.While performing a trick Julia drowns in a torture cell Angier suspects Borden bound her wrist with a new knot that he talked about it earlier.After the tragic death of Julia both separated and follow to begin their new career.Bolden now becomes The professor and hires an engineer Bernard Fallon.Now Angier has become the great Danton and work along with Cutter and Olivia(Scarlett Johhanson).Borden is now also married but her life is not easy as he is obsessed of magic tricks and its secrets. Boden is talented magician but he lacks the spirit of showmanship.As Angier is not as clever as Borden but he is good showman.The story follows with their path cross each others as Angier is full of vengeance that he blames Borden for her wife's death.

There are lots of twist and turns in the movie and it is not an easy watch.This kind of movies are not easily made, it do not requires experience but vision and skill to handle the story .This is very complex film but good example of brilliant film making.This film cheats you.Yes like magician do with the audiences.This is unpredictable and every scene makes you stunned and deceived.This is not easily forgettable.I would say Intelligent and Incredible film.Casting is perfect all actors are perfectly matched their characters.Cinematography is great.It feels camera work itself a character in this movie.Nolan's direction is great even the Author of the novel on which this movie is based has said that 'Oh, I wish I'd thought of that.'

544. A somber tale of rival magicians obsessed with creating the ultimate illusion. The story cleverly unfolds like the tricks they perform, and the prestige of the film is as revealing as it is unsettling. Recommended for fans of Memento.

The Prestige is an incredible film by Christopher Nolan that leaves you wanted to know more and makes you unable to leave your seat, even for a toliet break. A truly amazing masterpiece.
