The Santa Clause 2 is onefilm that just seemed to disappoint fans of the first installment. This film had some ugly visuals and the new characters just didn't fit.

The first Santa Cluase is one of the best Chrstmas movies and a favorite of mine. Probably the best movie that explains everything about Santa. Then we come to sequel time where changing the original story is not always a good thing. Part 2 doesn't ruin anything, but it takes it further.

Tim Allen in the lead role has become popular as the new Santa and just as everything is perfect: new challanges, not just one. His son Charlie is on the nughty list, so it's time for a little father-son bonding and according to tradtion, he now has to get married as well. There has to be a Mrs. Claus, and if there isn't, he desantifies and everything will cease to exist. So in the toy factory a carbon copy toy Santa is created to take care of business while real Santa takes care of son & possible wife. The road to happiness is far from perfect since Santa thought things were easier before with dating and relationships. Meanwhile, toy Santa takes over the wrong way and the north pole almost becames a nazi-esque/communist work situation. Is there any hope for things to work out and Santa to continue?

Although not up to the quality of the first movie in my books, it still is a wonderful movie. The tone is a bit darker with the subject of paranthood and balancing work and family. The magic that made the first movie special is missing here, but it does bring out the spirit of Christmas and is very enjoyable. Tim Allen is still perfect as the main character, and even with a few flaws and stupid ideas, it is definately a movie to enjoy.

Even when in high Christmas spirits this film is undeniably a flop.

I don't care what people say. This film is FUNNY! Even though it's predictable and dumb at times, it doesn't run out of steam by the end and Tim Allen does great as the fake Santa. It's got a lot of buzz!

Everybody returns to bring about another Christmas hit. Tim Allen is still great in this flick and seems to have really embraced the job of being Santa Claus, Charlie has begun acting out against a misor of a school principal.
The only thing I don't quite understand about is this; why didn't Bernard tell Satana about the Mrs Claus Clause before? Ah well; don't let that logic ruin the film for you. The performance are still solid and the laugh and Christmas charm keep coming. While the film is a bit of a cliche at times, its still a lot of fun. So watch, enjoy and have family fun.

I like how they kept charlie the same actor, I didn't like him, but I liked how they kept him. Overall, this movie isn't as good as the first but it still is good to watch over the holidays.

No way. This is a terrible movie. There is no "fun for the family" here. It's a bad movie any way you look at it.

Critics will say that unlike its Predescesor, the Santa Clause 2 is predictable. While undeniably it is, the Santa Clause 2 is more entertaining than the previous instalment, as it has more of the festive feel and has more comedic jokes.
