I have yet another 80's film to reveiw this week haha! This is the movie that made Arnold the mega actionstar he is today...yes he was awesome in Conan the Barbarian but this really burned him into everyones mind. James Cameron had birthed one of the most memorable Sci-Fi epics of all time, big surprise eh? The plot behind this movie is amazing...a war between Machines and Humans that takes place not that far from now after a nuclear war. The Terminators were the top of the line when it came to machine baddassery in the future. They send one back in time to "Terminate" the mother of the future of the human race John Connor who was still swimming nut to nut in daddy's ballsack. The humans send Kyle Reese to protect Sarah Connor from The Terminator even if it means losing his own life...the future is in their hands and The Terminator will not stop until it's mission is complete. I am sure this movie intimidated the shit out of audiences everywhere in '84 and it continues to do so even today...............I'll be back.....

terminator is a classic action flick that can almost never be overlooked.

Its a very brilliant and original idea.
James Cameron should alter this one with cgi for consistancy.
Cause in some scenes the Terminator looks fake and outdated.
(especially the stop motion terminator at the end)
The story is very clever with talking about computers taking over the world.
Cause that is surprisingly how its beginning to turn out now!

I had heard about this movie being great and always said I had seen it even when I had never seen it completely. Recently, I sat down and watched it from beginning to end and at when the credits began rolling all I could think about is why I waited so long to see this movie. It is now one of my favorites. Great acting, great directing, and great action sequences. Fantastic film. I reccomend to anyone looking for a good time. After you watch this check out the rest, the second one is just as good.

It might be the best of its time but for me I found it cliches rather campy acting and bad CGI

This is an excellent movie too start a franchise. A real entertaining movie that makes you hope the main characters get out alive. You feel for the characters.

for its time it was a wicked movie but no 4 terminator movies are out it is not that good its good but i enjoy watching the other 3 more.

the terminator is nothing sort of a sic fi masterpiece . the effects and scripting is earthshattering plus Schwarzenegger is perfect as the roge termintaior sent back in to 1984 by skynet to kill sarah connor. one of the downers about this film is its always over shadowed by its sequal. 100%

This movie paved the way for action movies and special effects.

I have seen it "more than enough" times........
