Val Kilmer's best acting -- this film granted Val a great set up for a role of ethereal confusion infused with precise skill, analytic thought and rebellious humor. (all of which he has loads of)

This, alongside Open Range, are arguably the two best westerns ever made.

Val Kilmer and his portrayal as Doc is iconic in and of itself. Russel as Earp is as accurate and well played as any other variation, and round it all out with Bill Paxton and Sam Elliot and you've got yourself some goodness. The villainly and unruly environment make for a believable picture. I enjoy this Western, thoroughly.

One of the best modern westerns since Silverado,..in many ways, Tombstone is even better. Kurt Russel is utterly totemic!

Tombstone was only good for one thing, Val Kilmer! He was awesome in this film and really stole the whole movie; I didn't really enjoy the slow start which just took ages for anything to happen and there was no real chemistry between the 'brothers'.

It was a slow film probably up till the last 45mins when plenty of action took place and it felt like a western.

Not a great film, but not heaps bad either. Not a huge Kurt Russell fan so that didn't help.

One of my favorite westerns. Val Kilmer's Doc is one of my favorite movie characters of all time.

Ringo: Wretched slugs, don't any of you have the guts to play for blood?
Doc: I'm your huckleberry.
