Features in my opinion, the best Bond (Sean Connery). However, it is definitely not his best or even his worst film as 007. Your average James Bond movie.

While certainly not the worst exponent of the Bond series, "You Only Live Twice" wasn't any more believable than any of the others. It was, however, more entertaining than "Thunderball" and featured the niftiest gadget yet in the series, "Little Nellie," a miniature (working!) helicopter armed to the nines and not much bigger than a cardboard box. As bond works his way through a series of Asian ladies, he's accosted by corporate thugs, aggressive dockworkers, inept assassins, and yes, even ninjas (!!!) on his way to dastardly bad guy number one, Blofeld, whose appearance and demeaner are so cliche that he was one of the key inspirations for Dr. Evil of the later "Austin Powers" parodies. That said, the pace is frantic, the visuals impressive, and the effects surprisingly good for the period, so all-in-all not a disappointment for those who go in knowing that to expect.

Not a bad entry in the series. Different from the previous ones as James Bond tries to learn and adapt a different way to catch Blofeld. The climax could have used some work but it was still better than Thunderball, about the same as Dr. No but still a notch down from Goldfinger and FRWL.

This Bond film isn't as good as Thunderball or Dr.No but is still super awesome. You only live twice is a great movie to watch any time of day, it is very funny to see Sean Connery Chinese very funny another classic Connery bond movie.

You Only Live Twice was a pretty entertaining Bond film, but it wasn't the best. Sean Connery does a good job, but everybody else is not that great at acting. The action sequences are pretty cool though. It passes as an entertaining film at least.

While Connery delivers (as usual), the Japanese actors don't feel (or sound) like they care about what they're doing. But the action is very well done, and the main villain behind S.P.E.C.T.R.E. is finally revealed.

My least favorite of Connery's Bond films. For some reason a lot of people see this as a great Bond film, however I see it as very boring and unnecessary in most parts. The two things I like about this movie are Akiko Wakabayashi's portrayal of Aki and Donald Pleasance's excellent introduction to the Bond super-villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Otherwise it's not very enjoyable and/or entertaining.

Another good Bond flick. Nice to finally get to see "Dr. Evil's" face. The Austin Powers movies are starting to make a whole lot of sense...gonna have to go back and watch those now...I'm sure they'll be way funnier to me now that I understand all the references.

This is where Connery's movies take a turn for the worst. The plot was pretty fun to follow and 007 in Japan was fun to watch. But the movie ups the scale for a huge ninja vs spectre battle that is really cheesy. The writing for this one wasn't as funny. Connery had three good ones in a row which no other Bond had, but Connery can't make it 4 with this forgettable movie, but it definitely worth a watch. MISSION SUCCESS (Barely).
