Synopsis

In the xii th century, Thomas Becket is the chancellor of the kingdom and the friend of Henry II of England . This one must promote him Archbishop of Canterbury to the death of this last one. Becket feels then invested by all the tasks that are incumbent on him, but his activities soon make him a rival for the king …
